2015 T-Slips deadline is February 29, 2016

It's that time of year again when 2015 T-slips (T4's, T5's, etc.) should be issued to meet the filing deadline of February 29, 2016 as required by Canada Revenue Agency.  If you require our assistance, please contact the office as soon as possible to determine what we may need from you to complete the slips.  If we have not heard from you by February 10, 2016 we will assume that you do not need our assistance with preparing your 2015 T-slips.

We also want to remind you of the roles and responsibilities of an employer. On our Resources page are links to the Employer's Guide to Payroll Deductions and Remittances T4001 as well as the Employers Guide to Taxable Benefits T4130. If you haven't already done so, the 2016 payroll rates for individuals should be updated in your accounting software to reflect the current year personal tax credits.  It is always a good idea to have the employees complete a new Federal and Provincial TD1 form at the beginning of each calendar year to ensure that you are deducting the correct amounts on each pay cheque.  Please also see below for the links to the TD1 and TD1BC forms for your convenience.
