The following Reminders for December are important to many businesses;
- GST & PST may be due depending on your reporting dates
- Corporate tax instalment may be due, if applicable
- Depending on the corporation type, if there is tax owing, corporations with September or October year end dates should consider making a payment to avoid interest
- Corporations with June year end dates should file their income tax return to avoid penalties
10th - CRA remittance for certain larger employers (Threshold 1) due
15th - CRA remittance for certain employers (Regular remitters) due
15th - The fourth instalment is due for individuals required to make quarterly instalments due
15th - Employer Health Tax third installment
25th - CRA remittance for certain larger employers (Threshold 1) due
26th - Christmas Day observed - Office closed
27th - Boxing Day observed – Office closed
31st - Last day in 2021 to pay shareholders dividends or pay employees monies
to be included on 2021 T-slips
